Pompano Beach Building Department

Tried to get answers on a permit and I am stuck on hold. Okay no problem. Wait and wait just to get hung up on. The wait time is terrible and the women that answer the phones really hate their jobs because they are always rude!!!!

We received our Shutter Permit in 5 days after dropping off all necessary paperwork. Excellent job! The best experience I ever had in Florida! Thank you. I LOVE Margate.

I have been sending email after email and call after call but nobody will respond back to me. I have been submitting permits for many years and this is by far the WORST building dept i have ever dealt with. It has been almost 4 months since anyone worked on my permit and i cant get anyone on the phone to save my life. This is completely unacceptable!

I previously wrote a favorable letter regarding Harry Justice…he tends to the restrooms along the beach. He does an excellent job…in addition, he is friendly and always says hi and knows my name. He trained a young man named Savoy. This letter is to praise Savoy. He does an excellent job cleaning and is very personable and responsible. I am very pleased with his professionalism and his being an “ambassador” for Pompano Beach. Many thanks…to Savoy and Harry.
