Shishka Lebanese Grill

Great selection of meals or side dishes, excellent flavors, and cool vibe in or outside. One of the best spots in Pompano Beach that is also reasonably price and provides great service.
I usually order the veggie platter (#69), baklava, a few other sides and a glass of wine. This is more than enough for me and other table guests. I have only visited for dinner, but lunch has a comparable menu for less $.
I highly recommend Shishka if you are seeking flavorful food, nice portion sizes, variety, and menu options for veggie or meat lovers.
If you are searching for the restaurant for the first time, it is in Pompano Citi Centre, first floor, near Subway and Lenscrafters. Parking is easy.

Try tbr stuffed chicken breast with spinach. It’s unique and worth a try. Generous portions, clean facility.

I do not know what append in the last few month with this place and all the 4 star ratings. The food I had was abysmal! Humus was old, bland and grainy. The Shawarma was dried out, must have been several days old. The Falafel where hard outside and dry and tasteless inside. They even managed to serve a bland Lebanese (Fattoush) salad, how difficult is that! This shows exemplary that they don’t care what they serve their customers.
Fresh food? It was not Monday where leftovers from the weekend may be rewarmed. I never gave a Restaurant only 1 star, but this was beyond unacceptable.

Alright I want to preface this by saying I never write bad reviews because I work in the food industry myself and understand how it can be. This is one of the very few exceptions.

I wanted to take my dad out to lunch because we never get to do that. I was so disappointed. The glasses they gave us were disgusting (I mean FILTHY). The waitress said something about not seeing it because of the light? That was a red flag but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Surely the reviews did this place justice so I should be fine. So we ordered and the waitress said it would be “over ten minutes”. one hour later we get the food and apparently they messed up the order. Idk how it took an hour when there was nobody in the restaurant but that’s besides the point. My shawarma was the driest thing on earth. It was served with boiled vegetables(broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots???) and white rice… I’m sorry what? The website showed a picture of grilled tomato’s and onions with this dish. Should have guessed it was a stock image. ironically the boiled vegetables tasted better than the “fresh meat” as the waitress put it. And for the price they charge… never coming back. I support local businesses but these people clearly don’t give a damn. Don’t waste your money or time here.

Very clean and welcoming place. They offer generous meals and for affordable rates. We loved the food a lot and the staff were super amiable and explanatory. Will definitely recommend this spot.
