TIAA Bank

I had a bad experience with their mortgage department. I was a good customer for 5 yrs and decided to refinance with them. I spoke with a mortgage specialist Zachary. He promised me a good rate at 3.7 I believe. We spoke for an hour an said he would send me an loan estimate . That was Saturday on Monday I did not hear from him and then I finally I got to talk to him. He said he could not give the rate and then it went up to 4.30. I was upset I was a good customer and I couldn’t believe this bank could not honor it. And he never followed up. I left this bank who was incompetent and went to a credit union. He was the worst employee who lied and just talked a bunch of BS. Like a car salesman. It’s all about money and not even keeping loyal customers. Do not use them for mortgage services or refinancing. They are are useless

My wife applied for a mortgage. she is a cpa and very successful. We were delayed three times as best described by attorney because of gross incompetence by the mortgage staff at never bank which included according to their agent ( because we appraised the wrong home). So we went else where. My advise is never go to Ever bank if you need a mortgage or a refinance loan.
