It’s worth getting a year-pass instead of a one-time ticket. The butterfly oasis areas are just phenomenal and special, nothing like I’ve previously experienced, with butterflies fluttering freely all around you. Our favorite was the bug zoo, where there are both pinned and live critters, and I’d totally go there again just to spend the day in that part. The downside with current restrictions: you always have to wear a mask, even though you’re mainly outside and always on your own. I hope that improves soon.

After spending 2 hours surrounded by the most beautiful butterflies I’ve ever seen, I’m feeling incredibly peaceful and happy!🦋🦋🦋🐛🐛 Wonderful place…. Very educational. The bug museum is also outstanding (never realized they have such HUGE bugs in New Guinea, for example–I don’t think I ever want to go there)😬😳😅
Tom in the garden shop was very helpful and assisted my friend in choosing host plants for a variety of different butterflies as well as nectar plants so she can start her own butterfly garden.
I’m hopeful that enough people will become interested in these beautiful pollinators and will also start their own butterfly gardens! Bees, butterflies and birds are critical for our planet’s health and our children’s future after all.
Highly recommend!

Very nice place to take family! The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a plethora of butterflies. I’m typically afraid of insects but I let the butterflies fly all over me because I was captivated by their beautiful colors. It’s a great place for a short day trip; I only spent less than 2 hours there. And, great experience for children younger than 2.

Super well kept. Clean and animals look happy (yes even butterflies can look happy). My daughter and I had a great time. Can’t wait till the playground right outside of it opens back up so my daughter can play there after our visits. With butterfly world and the playground I can really tire her out so when we get home she will nap and mommy can get a little me time.

Very nice butterfly and bird sanctuary but pricey admission.
