Today was a very bad experience for me at Crystal Lake Coin Laundry. I put $4 in one of the big machine and the machine didn’t run when I call for help the white lady who is working there told that I am lying and I put $2 and didn’t put the other $2 and said I will put $2 for you and you owe me $2 I said NO don’t put your money because I put $4 already she insist she doesn’t trust me and I am lying right in front of my children. I told her to go rewind your camera to see if I didn’t put money twice as requested she said I don’t even want to come near you. I was pissed 13years in the country I never gone outside to wash my clothes in public laundry and Thank God I always have in my house. She was very disrespectful to me and she knows that particular machine does that all the time even other customers they all agree they encounter problem with this machine before and they refuse to refund them their money. I reacted out of principle,I could give her $2 and give up . By doing that I accepted the accusation and the treatment. As a customer I call you for help you should handle me with respect before jumping and accuse me of lying and she even told she doesn’t if I call God and Allah she know that I am lying. First time time in 13years this is what I get. She assumed I am black I must be a thief coming to trying to get something from her by Stereotype me. At the same moment my husband was trying to get change from $20 bill and the machine give only $5 in quarters back and we were so lucky that happened in front of her and I bet you she would say he was lying as well. I am writing this because I am still upset about what happened today we left without drying the clothes. I will never go back to that place again. I am not done with this until I find the owner and let him know how his employee is treating people. She can be racist all she wants this is a black area. I don’t leave there myself I happened to go there because my washer at home don’t work properly but I feel bad and sad in my heart when white people Stereotype black people like that. When it’s come to things like that I don’t let it go. this needs to stop. I am putting 2 stars just because I don’t use the word HATE as 1 star equal hate. I rather say Dislike.
