Deep Oceanfront Restaurant and Bar

We just love this place. It’s like Hawaii in Florida. The dining area is under a remake of a high class tropical Tahitian hut. Breakfast choices are very good and I had the Greek omelet which was fabulous. She had Benedict cooked perfect. Waiter and staff were as nice as they could be.

We went 5pm so it wasn’t crowded at all. The waitress talked up a good story about how she’s the best and our experience was gonna be great. Didn’t work out like that at all… We had to remind her a few times for utensils, then maybe some bread, another drink. We waited 45 mins for our dinners. I was losing patience. When I asked she made excuse after excuse. The manager comes out to apologize and said, We just got slammed… There was hardly anyone there. And now I know. Why. The food wasn’t great at all and for what we got, the prices were high. The view was great though. But I’d never go back…

Great to go especially if you have kids. Beautiful place to have a date or a dinner with your family. The hammocks were being used by my kids as we waited for our food (a little too long) but besides the long wait very chill atmosphere. The salmon with the crispy skin and the cream sauce was amazing. Will definitely come back.

I have to edit this review after being here more. The service is ABSURDLY slow here most of the time you come. I’m talking over an hour waiting for an omelet you ordered. This has happened multiple times. You will often wait 20+ minutes for even a drink.
The atmosphere is great, food is usually good when it finally arrives, but the service is horrendously slow. Apparently I just got really lucky on a quiet week day the first time I went.

The property is beautiful. The big tiki hut is nice or u can sit right on the beach. Great views and good service. The food is good, not great. I give it a 7.5. Scallops and mashed with asparagus was 32. 3 big scallops but not a ton of food. Go for the ocean view.
